LearnMT does not warrant the accuracy, adequacy or completeness of material on this website. All information may be changed, supplemented, deleted or updated without notice at the sole discretion of LearnMT.
- Errors and problems
LearnMT does not guarantee that the website will be free from viruses, or that access to the website or Learning Management System will be uninterrupted.
- License and Ownership
The copyright for the content on this website and the learning management system is owned or licensed by LearnMT and is protected under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth) and by other copyright laws in both Australia and other countries. No material on this website or the learning management system may be reproduced, adapted, uploaded to a third party, linked to, framed, performed in public, distributed or transmitted in any form by any process without the expressed written consent of LearnMT.
- Feedback, suggestions, comments or requests
LeantMT encourages you to submit feedback, suggestions, comments or requests to email@example.com. If you do submit feedback, you acknowledge that LearnMT is under no obligation to keep such information confidential and LearnMT will have an unrestricted, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty free right to use, communicate, reproduce, publish, display and distribute such comments, feedback, suggestions in any manner it chooses.

The website may contain links to third-party websites and resources (“linked sites”). These linked sites are provided solely as a convenience to you and not as an endorsement by LearnMT. LearnMT makes no representations or warranties regarding the availability, correctness, accuracy, performance or quality of the linked site or any content, software, service or application found at any linked site. LearnMT may receive payments and/or commissions from operators of linked sites in relation to goods or services supplied by the operator as a result of you linking to the third party website from the LearnMT website.
- Inbound links
LearnMT generally encourages and agrees to your linking to the Home page through a plain text link on your website without the need for agreement between yourself and LearnMT. However, linking to any other page of the website is strictly prohibited, without express written permission from LearnMT.
The law applicable to disputes arising is governed by the State of Victoria – Australia.
- Disclaimer of Warranties
LearnMT makes no representations or warranties about the accuracy, completeness, security or timeliness of the content, information or services provided by the website (or the learning management system) and disclaims all warranties, either express or implied, statutory or otherwise, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, non-infringement of third parties’ rights, and fitness for a particular purpose.
- Limitation of Liability
If LearnMT is found responsible for any damages, LearnMT is responsible for actual damages only. In no event shall LearnMT, be liable for any incidental, indirect, exemplary, punitive and/or consequential damages, lost profits, or damages resulting from lost data or business interruption resulting from the use of or inability to use the website.
- Refunds and course extension payments
If, for any reason, you withdraw from the course within 14 days after submitting your enrolment order, your course tuition fees will be 100% refundable, less a $110.00(AUD) administrative fee.
Requests for refunds are to be submitted via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Refunds will be reversed to the original payment method. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of the request.
If for any reason, you withdraw after the initial 14-day cooling off period, the cost of the program and materials are non-refundable.
Course deferments are not allowed, but course extensions can be requested if you require more time to complete your course. All students are eligible to purchase 12 months of extension time. All extensions are charged at between $75 – $90(AUD) per month. Extension charges may be subject to change without notice. Fees paid for course extensions are non-refundable in any circumstance.
- Other fees and charges
All prices listed on this website are in Australian dollars, unless you reside outside of Australia or otherwise changed by the user. One copy of the certificate will be issued at the completion of the course. Any additional copies can be provided at a cost of $50AUD per copy of the certificate.
Enrolment into any course will not be confirmed until the initial deposit has been paid. Enrolment applications can only be submitted through LearnMT’s website.
- Course fees payment method
All course fees are to be paid through LearnMT’s website or via Invoice. If you require an Invoice please contact us via email@example.com. All prices are listed in Australian dollars (AUD). LearnMT accepts most major credit cards as the method of payment during checkout step of the enrolment process. Course fees can be paid in full or in instalments. Monthly instalments are available and the user can select an option to pay on a monthly basis or in full at the checkout. Any payments due as per the monthly payment plan must be made by the due date. Course payment plans must also be paid in full prior to undertaking assessment tasks or issuing certifications.
- Defaults and Rejoining
In the event a user fails to make their monthly instalment in accordance with their course payment plan, their access to the training program will be disabled and a rejoin fee of $10AUD may be applied. A user can rejoin their program within 30 days of being disabled, after which they will be withdrawn from the course. If a student fails to make payment on more than three occasions throughout their enrolment, they will be withdrawn from their course.
- Job placement assistance
As LearnMT is a training provider and not an industry employer, LearnMT cannot guarantee successful job placement upon course completion. However, it can help graduates gain employment upon completion of the course and it does have a high success rate in doing so (over 98% as of 29 August 2019). This assistance is included for all LearnMT graduates upon successful completion of the Certificate of Medical Transcription. Job Placement Assistance is not included for students undertaking the Professional Development Package.
- Complaints handling
In the event you are not happy with our courses or service, you can raise a complaint by sending an email to support@learntMT.com. All complaints will be handled fairly and a resolution will be provided as soon as possible.

- Plagiarism, collusion and cheating
LearnMT has zero tolerance about plagiarism and cheating in the assessment tasks. If you are found to be cheating and have plagiarised, your enrolment may be cancelled.
- Copyright/ Intellectual Property protection
All of the Learning Management System and website content including text, course materials, images, videos, audio files and logos are owned or licensed by LearnMT. No material on this website or LMS may be reproduced, stored, copied, adapted, uploaded to a third party, linked to, framed, performed in public, distributed or transmitted in any form by any process without the specific written consent of LearnMT. The course logins are provided solely for the genuine user who made the payment and enrolled in the corresponding course.
- Student Code of Conduct
All LearnMT students are expected to abide by a strict code of conduct. As a student with LearnMT, you have the right to:
- Learn in an environment that is supportive and free from harassment, discrimination and victimisation.
- Be treated fairly and with respect by all students and staff.
- Access the information LearnMT holds about them, including information about participation and progress.
- Receive training, assessment and support services that meet their individual needs.
- Access the support they need to effectively participate in their training program.
- Provide feedback to LearnMT on the training, assessment and support services they receive.
All students, throughout their training and involvement with LearnMT, are expected to:
- Treat all people with fairness and respect and not do anything that could offend, embarrass or threaten others.
- Not harass, victimise, discriminate against or disrupt others.
- Respect the opinions and backgrounds of others.
- Follow all policies and procedures as directed by staff.
- Report any perceived safety risks as they become known.
- Notify us if any of their personal or contact details change.
- Provide relevant and accurate information to LearnMT in a timely manner.
- Approach their course with due personal commitment and integrity.
- Complete all assessment tasks, learning activities and assignments honestly and without plagiarism.
- Prepare appropriately for all assessment tasks.
- Notify LearnMT if any difficulties arise as part of their involvement in the program.
- Make payments within agreed timeframes.
LearnMT makes no representations or warranties about the accuracy, completeness, security or timeliness of the content, information or services provided by the website (or the LMS) and disclaims all warranties, either express or implied, statutory or otherwise, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, non-infringement of third parties’ rights, and fitness for a particular purpose.
Without limiting the foregoing, LearnMT does not warrant:
(a) that the information on LearnMT website is complete, correct, error free or up to date
(b) that the functionality of this website will be uninterrupted or error-free;
(c) that LearnMT website will be compatible with any browser at any specific time
(d) that LearnMT’s website will be available all the time
(e) that any malfunctioning or defects in LearnMT website or its Learning Management system can or will be corrected; or
(f) that LearnMT’s web site or its server are viruses free or free from any other harmful code or materials, including spyware or malware.
(g) that a learner/student will be able to secure an employment at the graduation
(h) that LearnMT’s certificates / awards will be recognised by employers, industry, professional associations or any other training/education institute
(i) that LearnMT’s courses will meet your personal or professional learning needs
(j) that individual learning support will be available to the user/student at the time requested by the user/learner
(k) that the user/learner will be able to complete the course in a timely manner or in a way listed on LearnMT’s website
Under no circumstances shall LearnMT be liable for any damages, including direct, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, that result from the use of or the inability to use LeanMT’s website or the information contained on this web site, LearnMT’s Learning Management system, even if LearnMT has been advised of the possibility of such damages, it also includes learner/students inability to secure an employment at the completion of the course. In no event shall LearnMT’s total liability to user or user representatives for all damages, losses, and causes of action, whether in contract, tort (including, but not limited to, negligence) or otherwise, exceed the amount of $50.00.
User agrees that they will never lodge a claim against and hereby release LearnMT and its owners, management and contractors from all liability arising from access, uploads, postings, emails, downloads or other use of LearnMT’s website and any linked sites, including learning management system.
User understands that LearnMT, its owners and management are discharged from any liability to them with respect to personal injury, reputation, defamation, death, property damage or other loss that may result as a result of access, uploads, postings, emails, downloads or other activities or use related to the website, its forums and their content and linked sites i.e. learning management system.
LearnMT controls this website from its offices in Australia. LearnMT makes no representation that information and materials on this website or the Learning Management System (“Materials”) are appropriate or available for use in other locations, and access to them from territories where their content is illegal is prohibited. Those who choose to access this site or the LMS from other locations do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with applicable local laws. User may not use or export the Materials in violation of Australian export laws and regulations. Any claim relating to the Materials shall be governed by the substantive laws of the State of Victoria – Australia, without reference to choice of laws provisions. LearnMT reserves any rights not expressly granted herein.
